Senior Financial Advisor
Mike Allison uses a financial-planning-first approach to working with his clients. It starts with getting on the same page about a client’s goals and the needs of their household. That firm understanding is the bedrock for mapping out a plan to address any financial desires and concerns with investments and risk mitigation strategies.
He is a seasoned financial planner with a passion for helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals. He began working in the financial industry in 2006.
Prior to joining Blueprint Financial Advisors in 2025, Mike held customer-facing roles at well-known financial institutions. These experiences allowed him to hone his skill in portfolio management, risk assessment, and investment planning. He is known for delivering personalized financial advice and comprehensive financial planning, helping clients through various market conditions while keeping their strategies aligned with their unique objectives.
He attended college at the University of Kansas.
Mike works with a broader team to support client service and operations, including:
- President of Greenbeat Financial Adam Scherer, MS, CFP®, who assists with financial planning efforts
- Relationship Manager Samantha Large, who is a point of contact when his clients have questions or need assistance
Golfer by Day, Avid Reader by Night
Mike resides in Savannah, GA. He and his wife enjoy living on the coast of Georgia, where they like to visit local museums, meander through Art In the Parks exhibitions, and explore historic islands.
The Southern weather also allows for nearly-year-round outdoor activities, including golf, tennis, and pickleball.
To help welcome new residents of his neighborhood community, Mike runs a monthly breakfast and a large weekly pickleball association. He also participates on the Membership Committee for the neighborhood’s Board of Governors, as well as a Stewardship Committee.
He is an avid reader, especially fiction titles and biographies. A recent read he recommends to others is “The Texas Rangers: A Century of Frontier Defense” by Walter Prescott Webb.
